The 2021-2022 school year brings us several staffing changes that we are so excited to announce. Adriel Reed returns this year to her 3rd-4th grade classroom, and she has a brand new co-teacher, Rebecca Reinstein. We love our Team Teaching approach because of the way that it allows us to pair new teachers with veteran teachers who can serve as mentors. And we know even veteran teachers benefit from the fresh perspectives on education that new teachers bring!

Becca impressed us from the very beginning with her enthusiasm not only about starting her teacher career, but also about the way that TNCA approaches teaching . Born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Becca attended the University of Delaware, where she received a B.S. in Elementary Education and English for Speakers of Other Languages along with a minor in Urban Education. Like most of us, though, she’s been teaching children most of her life. Becca has spent her summers teaching private swim lessons to kids and working as a lifeguard at summer camps. She just moved to Asheville this summer, and when she’s not preparing for classes, she’s spending time exploring the mountains of Western North Carolina.
