Before-School Care
Before-school care is available on a drop-in basis (no pre-registration required).
Care is available beginning at 7:45am, Monday - Friday.
After-School Care
Our After-School Program encompasses so much more than just child care! We have created a program that offers daily theme-based clubs, extra homework help, quiet reading time, outside play, fun with friends, and a healthy snack.
After-School Care is available:
• Monday-Thursday from 3:00-5:30 pm
• Friday from 3:00-4:00 pm.
A typical day in After-School
3:00-4:00 pm — Club or homework 4:00 — Snack 4:00-4:30 — Quiet reading 4:30-5:30 — Free play
Clubs offered from 3:00-4:00 pm are open to all students and do not require enrollment in After-School care past 4:00 pm. You must pre-register each month for Clubs, but general after-school care is also available on a drop-in basis.
Clubs
A different club is offered each day of the week, and the selection changes on a monthly basis. Clubs taught by TNCA staff in the past have included American Girl doll crafts , Music and Theater, Trading Cards, Legos, Inventors, Open Studio Art, Water Play, Minecraft, Sports Fun, and Nature Art!
In addition, we have outside teachers come in to share their passions with our students. Past offerings have included Magic with Wendell Wandel, ZOME and Paper Airplanes with Ian Riddell, Art with Roots + Wings, TAASC with Greg Gillett, and Hip Hop dance with acclaimed dancer and choreographer Otto Vazquez.
